It sounds over the top but Lee absolutely changed our lives. Having had a number of trainers previously we didn’t get anywhere with our reactive GSD. We were told initially that he needed to be sedated, that he was aggressive, dangerous and finally we should have him put to sleep. It had got to the point I was so anxious in taking him out, and couldn’t have people visit the house. I was at the point I didn’t think anyone could help us. Lee was our last chance as we just couldn’t give up on our boy and my goodness I am so grateful we found him. Lees guidance and training , of mainly me, has made such a massive difference. I now have a dog that I can walk anywhere that I want to and can have people into the house, things I never ever thought would be possible. Booking a 121 with Lee was the best decision ever and I’m so grateful and recommend to anyone 100%
MARSHALLS STORY
What can i say about lee and his training. He has not only changed Marshall’s life but ours along with it. Our boy is super reactive to everything and anyone, life has been extremely traumatic leaving him an anxious terrified boy. We’ve been terrified he’d end up being seized for his behaviour. I wasn’t convinced anyone could help us to help him but had to give it another try for marshalls sake. One session at lees and i cannot express enough gratitude to lee, there was no rush, we felt relaxed and he explained at every stage what was going to happen and how we’d achieve it. Honestly things have really changed and that quick. Marshall is far calmer on walks 1 week in, we know that we have a long way ahead of us to be able to finally get him to relax enough that he can be walked in daylight and start to experience all the things he’s missing out on. But we now know we’re on that pathway and it’s finally achievable thanks to lee. The technics we’ve been taught are enabling us to let him live his best life and we could never have predicted this. So a massive Thankyou to Lee for helping him and sam for getting us in as quickly as she did, this isn’t a trainer that you leave and have no further back up, This is a trainer who has invested an interest in your dog with updates and back up help, your not left struggling alone. So If your at that point where you think nobody can help, we’ve been there and understand the frustration and heartache that brings with it….. Just take my advice and Give it that one last try with lee you absolutely will NOT regret it. 10/03/2024
REX'S STORY
"We rescued Rex at 6 months from a kill shelter in Romania. We were then involved in a car crash which left Rex reactive to EVERYTHING.. people, dogs, even bin bags and his own reflection. Life was bloody tough! We’d have to walk him at 5am to avoid as many triggers as possible, neither of us wanted to walk him as it was such a stressful ordeal and many times I’d come back and just cry. He wouldn’t get back in the car and we couldn’t have anybody to our house so it was a very isolating time. He was on alert all the time, barking at any noise and would never chill. To top it off he started to resource guard and life was a struggle! We tried many trainers, various medications and calming remedies but none of them helped. We were then told by our vet and a veterinary behaviourist to ‘put Rex to sleep’, this was heart breaking and it was hard to stay hopeful. But we are so thankful we did and reached out to Lee! He’s literally changed our lives and Rex is now living his best life. On the first session Lee had Rex back in the car. (We’d been trying this with other trainers for 6 months with no luck) What Lee taught us in that first session made an impact to Rex’s behaviour and reactivity straight away. We can walk past people and dogs in the street without reactions, walk with friends and family with Rex off lead, and he now has several doggy friends again. We can have visitors to our house and Rex will chill in his crate or on his lead where as before he would be barking and lunging constantly and so anxious! Don’t get me wrong we’ve put a lot of work in and we’ve still got a fair bit to go but it’s so nice to see Rex calm, happy, and also for people to see the loveable side of him that we see. And we couldn’t have got here with our lees amazing knowledge and support. He also corrected our behaviour, as the way we were reacting was making the situations worse. So if you’re struggling, please don’t give up hope. We honestly didn’t think we’d be able to get through this with Rex, but with the right path.. the right path being Lee Jones Dog Training, you can do it! And when you walk past somebody and they say ‘Aww, what a handsome dog’ rather than crossing the street to avoid you. You’ll realise it’s all worth it and it’s the best feeling ever! "Having followed Lee for a long time now and seeing what great work and the remarkable results he has achieved led us to contact him and arrange a zoom meeting. We have a few issues with our 2 and a half year old German Shepherd. Lee’s knowledge actually fills you with hope that we can get these issues resolved, he puts everything across in simplistic and to the point terms and makes so much sense. "We have been having afew issues with our dalmatian. Issues that without direction would become a massive problem. We've followed Lee on social media and decided to contact him. After speaking to Lee's partner, booking a slot I felt instantly at ease. The response was extremely warm and encouraging. When Lee knocked on our door his big smile ,non judgmental, calm ,professional self came in . Dobby was completely unaware of what was happening and after a very honest chat ,Lee got to work .Lee was extremely informative, explaining why and how to correct things that we were doing wrong. Dobby responded immediately which made us feel reassured and empowered, now having the physical and psychological tools to get the best from Dobby. Lee was extremely professional and effective. "I had a zoom call with Lee because my dog is scared of everything and therefore reactive to people and dogs. When I called I was feeling like there was a chance my dog would never get better. Lee's knowledge is undeniable, I was able to ask as many questions about training as I could think of. "We adopted our rescue girl Skye from Romania in September 2020 when she was 5 months old. For a long time she didn't see anyone other than us meaning she became incredibly reactive to other dogs and wouldn't let anyone in the house. We first saw Lee when he came to see us in 2022 and then we went to see him a few months later in 2023. Thanks to Lee, Skye can now walk within a few feet of another dog without reacting, we can have guests into our home and we've even taken her on holiday with us! We wouldn't have been able to do any of these things if it wasn't for Lees help and guidance. "

"Having been a working dog, adapting to being a pet was proving a challenge. I couldn’t walk her and if we saw another dog it became a battle often laced with nasty comments from other dog owners. Having followed Lee for a while we booked a zoom call and discussed my dog’s background and my issues. We began with small tasks at home and the transformation began. We followed the zoom up with a 1-2-1 session from which I learnt as much as my dog. Our journey is ongoing but the progress in our session was huge . Today we walked round the block something I’ve avoided. We were both relaxed the pace was calm and we both enjoyed it. Lee is knowledgeable patient and gives you and your dog the tools to enjoy what many other dog owners take for granted. I will be a Lee advocate to anyone experiencing issues. And I will be forever grateful !! "

"I can't express or shout loud enough about what an amazing 121 trainer Lee is. Truly amazing! Lee is hands down the best trainer i have come across. His work is outstanding!!! I wished i had booked him sooner and not wasted my money else where. I had two previous trainers who where a complete waste of time and money. He worked so patiently with my 14 month bully cross Storm, and also myself. Lee was very informative, understanding and very honest, he tried multiple ways to help her until we found the right solution, which also worked for me. I had over 5 months of constant reactivity with other dogs which developed after she was bitten by another dog (which i may add was with a trainer who was working with storm previously...so shocking!!) Storms reactivity combined with her pulling on the lead, got me to the point where i couldn't take her out as much as i needed, she also completely shut off when she see another dog no matter what the distance, i lost complete confidence when walking her. By the end of our training session she was sitting not even 1 meter away from Lees gorgeous dog with no reactivity AT ALL !!! I could not believe it, she was calm and listening to me for the 1st time in 5 months. Lee also gave me much needed information on which collar and lead changes i needed to help with her pulling. Well what can i say, another absolute game changer. Lee not only has helped me with my confidence but helped my anxious, nervous pup tremendously. I can now give her the longer walks she needs without any pulling, and no reactivity. I will forever be grateful for the help Lee gave me, I will never go anywhere else if i need help with anything else. One truly amazing man and trainer. Thank you. " We had the pleasure of having an appointment with Lee and meeting his wife today. We drove all the way from Nottingham but it was 100% worth the days round trip Our boxer max is reactive and a lead puller. After lee’s expert guidance, max was at ease and working towards our goals for him. He slept all the way home. 😊 I have had trainers in the past and they have all been useless with bully breeds. Lee completely understood Max’s energy levels and gave us the tools and encouragement to use them. I will be updating on Max’s progress. Both lee and Sammie had lots of slobbery kisses of max 🖤🐾 That dog loves to give kisses. 🤣 I have followed lee on social media for a while and had booked an appointment in with him last year, I have been waiting for him to recover from his accident so we could take max to him. Now we have the knowledge and tools to do it. I am confident we can overcome his issues. I can’t thank Lee enough."

" We reached out to Lee after using a couple of other dog trainers for our pup Nico, he is a big chap and was getting pretty mouthy, which was becoming worse after one of the trainers told us to keep throwing treats on the ground and the other just told us to say ouch. As soon as Lee arrived Nico greeted him with some arm nibbles, he knew how to resolve the issue straight away. I can honestly say we achieved more in two hours with Lee than we had in 5 months with other trainers. We now have the most gorgeous cuddly dog which is what we had been desperately trying to achieve. I honestly wouldn't waste my time or money using anyone else now."

" I had a zoom call with Lee this afternoon and just wanted to write a review in support of him and to show my appreciation. I had an appointment arranged with Lee but following a bite this weekend, I emailed him for advice - not expecting a response but praying for some guidance. Lee responded to me within an hour, on a Sunday morning, offering me an earlier appointment. This alone gave me hope when, if I'm honest, I was at my whits end. I found Lee's advice to be not only insightful and informative, but non-judgemental - which makes all the difference when you're in a difficult situation and your confidence has taken a hit. He has a really friendly and professional approach which allows for honesty and trust, while being strong and passionate enough to let you know where you are going wrong and what you need to do to move forward. " Have followed Lee on TikTok and his videos have bought a tear to my eye, the way he engages with dogs is just amazing. When I needed some help with my GSD Lee was the first person I thought of contacting. Had a zoom meeting and the help and advice he gave me was brilliant, he didn’t judge or make me feel stupid, he listened and advised to help me and my dog. I have plenty to be getting on with and starting to build a better relationship between me and my dog and hopefully all enjoy happier walks and home life! "Got in touch with Lee because I am struggling to walk my epileptic rescue GSD. Very nervous at times dog and water reactive with a few other tiny problems. Lee was so quick to book an appointment. an after our first meeting now I feel so confident with our action plan going ahead and the support received. Got an email straight after following up on what was discussed. The link between epilepsy and stress was taken into consideration and I cannot wait to work with Lee further. Clearly has an exceptional understanding and experience with the breed and he is so easy to talk to. Already cannot wait for our next training session. Koda sounds incredible. I also am having orthopedic surgery on my leg so Lee was able to offer useful advice for this as well. "

"Had a zoom call with Lee today 7/12/2023 as I needed advice on my reactive French Bulldog “Louie”. I must say, I found an instant rapport with Lee, he puts you at ease and is non judgmental. His knowledge is undisputed, and he was able to explain the psychology and sociology of our dogs particular breed. He gave us guidance with an explanation behind Louie’s behaviour. He advised on appropriate equipment , and sent me an email for the links to purchase the goods in order to get Louie on the right path He also offered a 20 minute follow up zoom call for when we get the equipment free of charge. What a touch. All in all, a right nice chap, knows his stuff, and I feel confident that we can move forward with Louie. I would recommend his services 100% "

"I had a Zoom video call with Lee for some advice about my young Labrador (Dora) her refusal to eat since being unwell. Lee took the time to understand the situation and was extremely helpful in providing advice. He is so knowledgable and personable. Lee also gave some great advice on how to stop Dora from harassing the cats. I’m so pleased to say that I followed Lee’s instructions and I now have a Labrador who is eating fairly normally now and is starting to learn that the cats don’t want to be her mate! "I had a zoom call with Lee today and as I knew it would be, it was great. We have issues with light chasing with my 18 month old Vizsla, but more recently I made a mistake that I regret hugely, and needn't have worried about being judged. Lee was kind, empathatic and understanding and I left the call feeling much better and stronger. I have already ordered the items he suggested would help with the compulsive behaviour with light chasing and look forward to hopefully updating him with positive news in weeks to come. "I booked a zoom call with Lee and have absolutely no regrets! It was a really thorough meeting. Having been skeptical about how much I might get from a video call as opposed to an in-person meeting; I can say it was truly valuable. Lee spent a full hour talking through all aspects of my nervous labradoodles behaviour and routine and gave great advice in a clear and simple manner. I feel empowered with the strategies Lee has suggested and it is heartening to know that there will be improvements if I give it 100% and follow the advice to the letter! I went on a walk about through my home with Lee on the call so he could understand the set up and how I currently manage visitors with her reactivity and other unwanted behaviours. Lee genuinely gave practical and realistic instructions on what to do. Lee was brilliant, completely down to earth, honest and most importantly for me due to Lenny's bite history non-judgmental. "I had a Zoom call with Lee last week as I was struggling to walk my rescue dog due to reactivity with cars, as well as other issues. I’ve followed Lee for a while so have already seen that his knowledge is exceptional, but he’s also very personable and non-judgmental, which is much needed when you’re struggling and lacking confidence. We covered a huge amount in the session and Lee gave excellent advice covering each of the problem areas, advised on appropriate equipment and supplements, then sent an email straight after the session with links to purchase the recommended products. I now have a longer-term action plan in place to deal with Benji’s reactivity and feel that his issues can be resolved with Lee’s guidance. I highly recommend Lee and his prices are excellent.

He really put our minds at ease about the challenges we felt we were facing with Buddy and his unpredictable reactivity and what we would describe as a personality disorder (which he assures us is not a thing!!) He gave us really practical advice and tips on how to train him and we're amazed at how quickly Buddy has taken to his new dingo collar - so far, so good! "Had a fantastic zoom call with Lee yesterday as I'm at the end of my tether as to how to proceed with my dogs training my dogs pull constantly whilst out walking. So I feel very stuck at the moment. Lee took the situation in hand and I have a structured plan for the next few weeks and the correct tools to complete the procedure. I'm much more relaxed and confident that I can overcome this area of training. I will have a zoom meeting with him again to see how the process is working. "My husband & I had a zoom call with Lee, instantly he put us at ease with his friendly & relaxed manner. We contacted Lee regarding our wonderful Frenchie (Doug), he is reactive to visitors & the tv. I’m sure like any pet owner we were feeling anxious on how or if we could try and start to resolve this situation. Lee is really approachable and non judgmental and gave some great tips and recommendations on how to tackle these issues as well as explaining why these behaviours arise, which is really useful to know! "Lee is amazing! We've had two zoom calls with him to help us with our large breed mix who is very fearful and reactive. He's also helped us with our 10 year old dog, who has a lot of bad habits that were not helping the younger, larger dog. Lee helped us to successfully crate train both dogs, get them past reactivity issues on walks (so we can actually enjoy our time with our dogs outside of the house!), and now we're working on reactivity in the home with guests. Lee's advice is honest, straightforward, and effective. We've tried so many different trainers and approaches, but Lee is the only one who's made an immediate impact. We are so incredibly grateful for all he does!!"

"I have just had a zoom call with Lee to discuss a new dog coming into the home with our already reactive dog. My hopes were to put a plan in place and gain some direction as a starter before we are able to see Lee in person. I am able to say that he has done exactly that! Lee is able to give bread specific advice, no beating around the bush, direct and straight to the point. I've been following Lee on IG for a long time and dreamed of being able to have a training session with him and also wish I had found him when my dog was a puppy so maybe we wouldn't even have any issues to begin with. But since I am in the states an in person session was impossible. So when he started offering 1:1 zoom sessions I jumped at the chance. I don't know why but I will admit I was a bit nervous before the session thinking I would be told how much I have done wrong with my dog etc. But Lee was nothing but kind, understanding and puts you at ease with his infectious laugh. He certainly will tell you like it is, which is great, but it's done with kindness and with the main purpose of helping you and your dog, there is no alpha ego here that I see in so many "tough love" dog trainers. I have paid many trainers before Lee a lot more money and have gotten A LOT less out of it than I did with this one session with Lee. Do not hesitate to book a session, I would do it a million times over and pay more than double the cost in a heart beat! Thanks so much Lee, you truly have a gift!

"I had my Zoom call with Lee this morning 25/01/24. What a smashing fella Lee is ! I went into the call feeling a total failure with my chocolate Labrador BluBear who is fear reactive - and by the end of the call I felt so much more confident and empowered to do the right thing with the advice and tips given. A massive thing I’ve learned today is my dog doesn’t need 100 friends to be running around with. What he needs most is for me to be his advocate and make all his decisions for him. The relief I feel now that I am not making my dog lonely by keeping even the friendly dogs out of his face is huge!! Thank you so much Lee for your time today. I will work hard at everything you’ve shared with me today and create a calmer safer world for BluBear. You’re a diamond.

Oh my goodness! The things I learned about my dog and about what we were doing ! Lee was so kind and I felt able to be completely open about my concerns, how I had withdrawn from taking my dog for walks etc and at no point did I feel at all judged. Lee provided a really clear next steps plan for us and is also following up with us. At the end of the day, no matter how many videos I had watched, it made such a difference being able to speak specifically about my dog Ruby and everything that she does. Lee can piece together all of the of the jigsaw and 'see' the whole behaviour. Lee's advice made so much sense and has given me back the confidence that I had lost. Now to put it all into practice .... :-)

I had a zoom call session with Lee today, talking through some of the issues we have faced with Maverick Lee has not only helped me understand my dog maverick but assured me that the training we are doing is helping him and with the correct training tools and some new brilliant advice to move forward with his training , he was very understanding and knowledgeable and without any judgment and made me feel a lot more confident and happy with the training plan put in place. we can now hopefully get him to where he is more comfortable with walking and interacting with other dogs. I would highly recommend to anyone struggling with their dog

Having watched multiple YouTube & Facebook vids, I finally had a zoom session with Lee. Having taking on a dog that was bred to work 10-12 hours a day I needed advice and guidance on how to begin to 'domesticate' her. I knew I was part of the problem, I was over compensating for her and needed to know how to begin to change habits. I learnt more in my hour zoom session than I could ever have hoped for, I realised Im on the right track and with Lee's guidance, can give me dog an enriched and rewarding life. Best thing Ive done! Really looking forward to our 1-2-1 session now - Thank you Lee :-)

The only mistake I made was not getting in touch with Lee sooner than I did. If you are considering getting in touch with him, just do it this minute. I had a zoom call with Lee in the first week in January for my 10 month lab who was jumping vertically so high like a bouncing kangaroo and all I could see was her hurting herself or somebody, she was stomach punching with paws when she jumped and jumping/punching on front door from the outside. I seriously thought I'd have to put up with this forever. I got specific drills to do with Lucy and we went to work on drills that evening. I stuck to the drills Lee gave me. I could see a change straight away in Lucy. 2 and a half weeks later there was zero jumping, zero stomach punching and she does not jump at front door anymore. Lucy is an all-round better pup with all the generous advice and tips I took note of from Lee who only wants to help your dog and you. Book now....
