TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DOG HEALTH
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their dog’s vaccinations or titre tests are current. Dogs must be in good health to attend training sessions, as this is critical for the safety of all participants.
LEADS AND CONTROL
Dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control at all times unless specifically instructed otherwise by the trainer.
CLEANING UP
Clients are responsible for promptly picking up and properly disposing of any faeces deposited by their dog.
BANNED BREEDS
Owners of dogs classified under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 must comply with all statutory requirements, including holding a valid Certificate of Exemption where applicable.
MUZZLES
If a dog poses a bite risk, it must be muzzled when meeting new people, in public areas, or during travel. Clients are responsible for taking all reasonable precautions to protect others from harm.
Additionally, any dog with reactivity issues (whether to people, other dogs, traffic, or any other stimuli) must be fully muzzle trained prior to attending sessions. The client must provide their own appropriate muzzle, and the dog must be comfortable wearing it without attempting to remove it. If the trainer determines that a dog requires a muzzle but the client has not brought one, or the dog is not adequately trained to wear it comfortably, the client will be charged in full for that session, provided with muzzle training information, and required to complete muzzle training before re-booking. A new deposit and full session fee will be payable for any subsequent appointment.
RESIDENTIAL DOG TRAINING PROGRAM
When entrusting your dog to Lee Jones Official Dog Training for any residential training package, it remains your responsibility to ensure your dog is physically fit, healthy, and suitable to undertake training. Dogs must not be in season, nor receiving any medication that has not been declared and agreed upon prior to arrival.
Full and accurate disclosure of your dog’s history, behaviour, and health is required. Failure to provide complete information or to disclose details requested will result in immediate termination of the residential program with no refund issued.
By booking a residential training place, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions. You acknowledge that no guarantee of specific training results or behavioural outcomes is provided. Payments are made for Lee Jones’ professional time and services, not for guaranteed results.
In some cases, additional time or care may be required beyond the original booking period. Should this be necessary, additional fees will apply. Payment of the initial deposit confirms acceptance of all terms, whether provided directly or available to view on the website contact page. A strict no-refund policy applies to all residential bookings.

Advance payment (either full payment or a deposit) is required to secure all bookings and training appointments.
ALL DEPOSITS AND FULL PAYMENTS FOR SPECIAL OFFERS/SALE APPOINTMENTS / TOUR APPOINTMENTS / RESIDENTIAL TRAINING / 121 TRAINING SESSIONS / HOME VISIT APPOINTMENTS & ZOOM CONSULTATIONS ARE ALL NON-REFUNDABLE IN ANY & ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.
CANCELLATIONS, MISSED APPOINTMENTS AND RESCHEDULING
Missed Appointments (No-Shows): Failure to attend an appointment without giving at least 7 working days prior notice will result in full payment for the training session being due within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment date, or if the appointment has already been paid in full will result in no refunds.
Late Cancellations (with less than 7 Days notice): Full payment for the session will be due.
Client-Initiated Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule may be accommodated at the trainer’s discretion, but no refunds will be provided for rescheduled sessions. A processing fee & a new deposit payment will apply in any and all cases. Rescheduling requests must be made with at least 7 days’ notice to avoid full payment being due.
Trainer-Initiated Rescheduling: If we are required to move an appointment due to circumstances outside our control or operational needs, no refund will be issued. We will work with the client to reschedule to an alternative date that is mutually suitable. All terms and conditions will apply to the new appointment.
BEHAVIOUR AND LIABILITY
Dog Control and Behaviour: Clients are fully responsible for their dog’s actions. Dogs must remain under control (typically on a lead) unless directed otherwise by the trainer.
Liability for Costs: Clients are liable for all associated costs (including but not limited to veterinary bills, property damage, and third-party claims) arising from injury, sickness, damage, or death caused to or by their dog.
Risk Acknowledgment: Clients acknowledge and accept responsibility for all known and unknown risks, injuries, or damages that may occur during or related to training sessions.
Supervision of Others: Minors must be supervised at all times. Any person accompanying the client attends at their own risk, and advance approval must be obtained before bringing minors to sessions.
Health and Insurance: Dogs must be covered by third-party liability insurance, and be fully vaccinated and wormed in line with standard veterinary recommendations.
NO GUARANTEE OF SUCCESS OR PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
The client acknowledges that payment is for professional consultation services provided by Lee Jones, and not for guaranteed outcomes, behavioural improvements, or success in resolving specific issues with their dog. Full payment for each training session is payable in full regardless of whether the dog demonstrates behavioural improvement or whether Lee Jones is able to address all of the client’s concerns. Failure to make payment by the agreed deadline will result in additional charges and administrative costs being applied.
Disclaimer of Liability: Trainers accept no liability for injury or damage to clients, their dogs, or their property arising during training sessions.
External Factors: Trainers are not responsible for disruptions or delays caused by events beyond our control, such as illness, bereavement, adverse weather, or transport disruptions.
Client Decisions: Trainers are not liable for any decisions or actions taken by clients based on advice provided during or outside of training sessions.
The client also understands it could take more than one session to address all the issues they are having.
REGARDING LEE’S HEALTH
In 2023, Lee was involved in a serious motorbike accident resulting in multiple fractures and severe knee damage. Following surgery and complications including sepsis, he underwent amputation of his right leg above the knee in 2024. Lee now uses a prosthetic leg, crutches, or wheelchair as needed, but this does not impact his ability to train dogs effectively. A final corrective surgery is scheduled for November 2026, and we kindly request your understanding if appointments need to be rescheduled to accommodate this. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption and keep clients informed. Thank you for your support and understanding.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE
By booking a consultation with Lee Jones and making payment of the required deposit or full session fee, the client confirms that they have read, fully understood, and unconditionally agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions set out above.
